The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers. Our network of over 270 local independent charities offers confidential advice online, over the phone and in person, for free.

We have over 900 national staff and 6,300 local staff in our member organisations, 18,300 local volunteers and 3,000 Witness Service volunteers. Together we deliver the Witness Service, Pension Wise, the Consumer Service, the Help to Claim service and debt advice. We’re also the consumer champion for the energy market and the statutory consumer watchdog for the postal service.
