Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development
We face an ever changing higher education landscape, both at home and overseas. A new approach is required in order that we are able to thrive in an increasingly competitive sector. In response, we have a new vision: ‘By pioneering exceptional industry partnerships we will lead the way in real world experiences preparing students for life’
To realise this, we are revamping our approaches to student recruitment and success, employability, enterprise, curriculum development and research. We are developing four new ‘Industry Collaboration Zones’ that will act as a physical focus for collaboration within the University and with partners in particular industry sectors. This is a bold departure from traditional structures and models of learning, but one we feel is vital to ensuring our future sustainability and ability to provide an outstanding experience for our students, staff, and partners alike.
Key to achieving all of this of course, is our people. Our ability to attract, develop and retain great people is paramount. We are therefore seeking to appoint a Director of HR&OD who can match our ambition and work with us to realise our strategic objectives.
Have you got a proven track record of leading and managing a strategic and high performing HR / OD function, resulting in genuine enhancements in the engagement and management of people within a sizeable and complex organisation? Have you delivered large and complex organisational and cultural change projects and initiatives?
Whether you are already experienced at or near board level, this is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding individual to join a progressive new leadership team at the start of an exciting journey towards excellence and distinctiveness.
