A permanent part-time opportunity to work for a well-known Charity based in South London working within a dynamic Learning and Development Team.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the L&D manager you will oversee all existing vocational qualifications as well as identifying opportunities for developing a wider range of qualifications. You will be working within the L&D team to develop and deliver a Quality Assurance strategy to ensure the NVQ and ILM Centres are meeting awarding body standards and preparing in advance for yearly audits.

You will be working closely with a team of freelance assessors and internal verifiers to ensure they are supported and progressing their candidates throughout. Within this role you will also have the opportunity to review any gaps in the qualifications offered by the organisation and to introduce new opportunities. This will involve sourcing funding for workforce development opportunities and liaising with external partners to develop the organisations Learning and Development offer.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role it is essential that you are a qualified assessor and verifier with previous experience working within the health and social care sector as you will be assessing and verifying social care qualifications to a high standard. You will also have previous experience of preparing for an audit from an awarding body as well as managing IT systems within an accredited centre.

You will be a dynamic individual with a vision for management and progression who is a reliable team player. You will also demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, external contacts and stakeholders.
