Overall Purpose of Role

The talent, engagement and leadership team exists to build and maintain our leadership capability such that we can deliver what is needed now and for the future. It also focuses on creating and maintaining a culture which is optimal for business growth and driving the engagement of our people who work shoreside. To achieve these outcomes, the team focuses on the following areas:

* Leadership development, from front line managers to senior leaders;
* Leadership team development;
* Coaching and mentoring programmes;
* Identification and career management of top talent as identified by performance and potential;
* Succession planning;
* Engagement of shore staff;
* Positive performance management approach, systems and life cycle;
* The identification, monitoring and maintenance of a culture that enables delivery of business outcomes.
