Description

The Resource Planning team manage a portfolio of c.200 existing project managers to deliver business critical projects that generate a significant amount of revenue for the organisation.



The successful candidate will play an important role in the delivery of a world class people resource planning service, by leading a team which is focused on the very best client results and experience.



The Resource Planning Manager will:



* Lead a small team of resource management professionals to allocate space and people resources to a diverse range of programs programmes in an efficient and agile way.





* Develop and innovate resource planning methods for matching the best teams and space for optimum results.





* Act as a business partner to Programme Teams and Line Managers to monitor progress and resource requirements and support team development.





* Produce and evaluate management reports which guide the business to optimum resource utilisation.





* Project future space and people requirements and ensure these are met.


Profile

Michael Page are looking for a Resource Planning Manager with the following expertise:



* Significant expertise in setting up or managing large people and/or space resource programmes. This will be gained in a specialised Workforce or Resource Planning post, rather than a Recruitment focused role.





* Significant demonstrable experience in being able to negotiate and resolve conflicts in demands and some potentially difficult people issues





* Demonstrable experience of producing, analysing and advising on Resource and Workforce data to inform commercial decisions





* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills



* Ability to influence at all levels of an organisation, with the confidence to manage and challenge expectations of senior stakeholders and clients


Job Offer

Immediate start, 3 Month Contract, £250-290 daily rate dependent on experience
