This will be a busy, challenging and highly rewarding role working as a national Business Development Manager for a large and successful UK business. Working with an already strong customer focused sales team this unique role will challenge you to work sometimes as a Sales Manager and sometimes as a Training Manager. You will need to ensure that your dispersed team can continue to deliver against sales and customer service targets.

On a day to day basis your role will involve the following responsibilities and challenges.

* Developing, delivering and facilitating a mix of 1-2-1 and Group training initiatives to improve sales and customer service performance.
* Motivating and inspiring the sales teams to ensure that they can exceed agreed sales targets.
* Working in partnership with Sales Managers to ensure training initiatives "live and breathe" after training days.
* Ensuring that sales teams staff are able to work effectively (removing issues and/or allowing them to develop fresh thinking and products).
* Dealing with any personnel or HR issues. e.g disciplinary & grievance investigation

There will be scope to look after projects like the development of new routes to market or new products.

We are looking for individuals with track record of success managing teams capable of hitting targets and delivering exceptional customer service. This is likely to be in a retail / hospitality sector or other areas where there is a face to face customer engagement.

You MUST have

* The ability to inspire a passion for customer service excellence in a sales team that allows them to be highly effective sales professionals.
* A credible management background.

Salary - £40000 + car (or allowance) and strong bonus (up to 25%)

Based - Home based with frequent national travel.
