Interim HR Business Partner required North Kent, Immediate!

Your new role
Residential construction group, building and selling family houses, apartments, retirement facilities and social housing units, functioning in England and Wales To lead and manage the people management related agenda for the Regional Managing Director and if applicable, the Group Functional Director. You will be responsible for leading the change management projects and manages the HR related internal communication for their respective arrears for responsibility and you will share the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery by an effective delivery of the people agenda. This position will also require travel to sites within the region and to other regions on a regular basis

What you'll need to succeed

* Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
* Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the regional level
* Manages Business wide HR Projects
* Builds a strong business relationship with the regional MD's
* Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
* Oversee the recruitment process for the key talents for the Division
* Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees
* Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
* Communicates the HR KPI's to the Divisional teams, identifying key risks and opportunities.
* Designs succession plans for key talents and critical roles
* Continually challenge the organisational structure and proposes improvements
* Acts as the senior member of the HR Management Team
* Develops HR team members as they can become HR Business Partners

You will also cover the following;

Key Required Skills:

* Previous experience in Human Resources Management (Minimum of 5 years)
* Be willing to travel to sites within the region and to other regions on a regular basis.
* Communication and negotiation Skills
* Project Management and Change Management Skills
* Strong Business Acumen
* Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills
* Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
* Employment Law/ER Knowledge Skills
* Experience of working within the construction industry would be an advantage

Able to demonstrate ability in the following areas:

* Developing and implementing HR policy and practice
* Handling employee relations issues including disciplinary and grievances
* Managing redundancy programmes
* Experience in dealing with absence management
* Proven track record of cost effective recruitment initiatives
* Training and Development to include Management Development
* Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Strong Microsoft office skills and experience of HR systems
* Responsible for own workload, requiring minimal supervision with an ability to meet deadlines

What you'll get in return
Up to £38,000 / £150 pd
