Your new role

Your role as Training Designer is to develop organisational capability by designing and delivering a suite of creative learning interventions and programmes.


* Conduct Training Needs Analysis through collaboration with HR colleagues and stakeholders, and make recommendations for the most appropriate solution(s).

* Design and deliver creative interventions for the Academy (aligned to company behaviours) that meet the organisations needs and are based on learning theories using a blend of delivery mechanisms.

* Where appropriate assist in identifying external training providers, managing the relationships and monitoring delivery against pre-determined criteria.

* Ensure robust evaluation methods are in place to measure the impact of learning and development programmes/events. Collate, analyse and report on benefits achieved.

* Manage multiple design projects using effective project management processes to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

* Coach and develop the training team to be able to deliver/facilitate internally designed learning interventions.
* Participate in organisation/HR change projects, providing learning and development expertise and designing and delivering solutions that support the project objectives.

* Scan the external environment to identify trends and opportunities to enhance the Learning & Development offering. Make recommendations to ensure the offering is competitive and supports our Employer Brand.

What you'll need to succeed


* Min 3 years L&D experience to include design and delivery.
* An understanding of learning theories, concepts and principles.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Excellent coaching & influencing skills.
* Commercial acumen.
* Planning & prioritising.
* Stakeholder management.
* Excellent PC skills.
