Gloucestershire College is a modern, well-equipped Further Education College, with a thriving community of UK and international students.

Operating as a key member of the College Management Team, and reporting directly to the Principal, the Director of Human Resources will have responsibility for the development and implementation of the College’s HR Strategy. They will provide effective leadership of the HR function, including learning and development and payroll, building strong relationships across the organisation and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a rare opportunity to join a great organisation as we celebrate a ‘good’ across the board Ofsted inspection and enter a new strategic planning cycle that presents both challenges and opportunities. We are seeking an individual who has a breadth of generalist human resources experience and may be looking for the next step in their career or wanting to consolidate their experience to date.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please complete an application form (CVs will not be accepted) and provide a supporting statement of no more than 800 words, outlining what you can bring and why you are the right person for the role.

The College offers an attractive reward package, including a competitive starting salary, access to a career average salary pension scheme and 49 days annual leave per annum.

Please visit http://www.gloscol.ac.uk/about-us-and-jobs-at-gc/working-at-gc/vacancies/ to apply and view the full job description.

All candidates will be contacted regarding their application by no later than Tuesday 18th April. This role will operate under a two phase selection process consisting of a selection day on Tuesday 25th April with successful candidates being invited to a further final interview on Thursday 4th May.
