Our client is an organisation with a desire to build a Global Diversity and Inclusion offering that will mean working with organisations and operations across a range of countries.

Based in London our client partners with a range of global organisations and bodies and seeks to develop and promote best practice in the area of Diversity and Inclusion.


Description

As Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion your role will be to join with a view to developing a Global Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.

When you have done the research and presented this strategy you will then be required to:

* implement and continuously review the Global D&I Strategy
* deliver an integrated issue focused diversity organisation that provides a broad based diversity service.
* to lead and direct the Global D&I agenda ensuring the develops its Global D&I guidance and support.
* to oversee (and develop) partnerships with other employers and, equality/employment organisations & the media,
* to gather and share Global D&I best practice and share these with other team members and external stakeholders.
* to develop and deliver research, best practice document and courses and and events,
* to promote and market the team and it's activities


Profile

Our client is looking for a candidate to join them in London as the Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion, and they are looking for a candidate that can demonstrate:

* Good experience implementing projects in the area of Diversity and Inclusion or a very good understanding / passion for the subject of Diversity and Inclusion; and
* Experience of working in an International remit. (This is very important) The right candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have worked in an HR role or in a Diversity and Inclusion role across an international remit. Candidates will be required to demonstrate a recent history of working across international offices and cultures; and
* Recent and continuous experience of working in a commercial organisation where initiatives are allied to commercial aims; and
* Experience of working on strategic initiatives, ideally that encompass the above.

The perfect candidate will be required to gain support for the initiative from partner organisations and bodies at a number of levels so candidates who can demonstrate a history of working in a commercial or sales type role such as recruitment, consultancy, commercial management or any other commercially focused area of an organisation will be well placed.

This role would work well for candidates with an HR or Diversity background and experience of working internationally on these projects with high level stakeholders such as senior board or global board members from a range of countries.


Job Offer

Based in London, our client is offering a salary of up to £60,000 for the candidate with the right experience to join as Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion .

There is also 25 days holiday and limited benefits.

There is a future opportunity to earn in excess of the salary mentioned based on the performance of the candidate and the project.
