Role:

We have an amazing Head of Resourcing role based in Coventry reporting to a highly commercial, forward thinking HR Director who can help shape your career. You will lead a team of 16 to deliver a strategic, customer driven recruitment service to the business in line with the Corporate Strategy, People Strategy and Resourcing Plan.


As the Head of Resourcing you will develop and deliver innovative candidate sourcing strategies to ensure the highest quality recruitment and candidate attraction across all areas of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Engage with senior stakeholders and build strong relationships across the management teams, attending meetings as necessary as the Head of Resourcing.


Lead the Resourcing Delivery team (c.20 heads - 3 direct reports) to provide a strategic, customer focused and highly professional recruitment service across all areas of the business.


Allocate activities and resources required to deliver the Resourcing plan and corporate projects.


Manage of the RPO relationship, ensuring weekly conference calls, monthly review meetings are effective and proactively address any issues.


Utilise MI and Resourcing metrics to identify improvement opportunities and in conjunction with the RPO and business area, develop solutions and prioritise delivery of business goals

Develop and deliver a 'direct sourcing model' for Senior Hires ensuring the organisation is 'spending money wisely' in all recruitment activities and consider budgetary implications

Act as a trusted, strategic partner to the Executive and Enterprise Leadership team in order to deliver on the recruitment of 'Head of Function' roles.

Drive and deliver strategically identified recruitment projects e.g. Recruitment Technology Implementation work with the relevant stakeholders to build a pipeline of talent for key roles.



You will have:


High energy, drive, confident communication and excellent influencing skills

Proven track record of identifying, attracting and managing the candidate experience, including building talent banks.

Degree calibre

You will need effective leadership skills with experience of leading a large team.

You will have a proven track record of developing effective working relationships with senior stakeholders and implementing commercial resourcing solutions.

Able to demonstrate a continuous improvement approach with the desire to challenge existing processes to drive service enhancements

Operates with discretion, confidentiality, tact and diplomacy at all times.
