HR Business Partner, with a great business…

Contract type – Fixed Term Contract, Full-Time

Salary – £50-60k per annum

Duration – 10-12 months

Location – East London

Whilst the nature of HR work is often challenging, it always helps with you have great team around you. You will get to work with a close-knit team that is professional yet incredibly friendly and good-humoured. They are a very relaxed and friendly bunch that we are sure you will warm to straight away. We certainly did when we met them.

We don’t want to say too much about the client for obvious reasons but it is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that employs people who are truly passionate about what they do.

They are a medium sized business that have grown fairly rapidly over the past 5 years and a driver for this growth has been acquisition.

The result of this is a need to undertake a transformation programme that will right-size the business and remove the duplication of roles. It is also an opportunity to drive capability across the business. There will be lots to get your teeth into here.

What will be keeping you busy?

The business currently has a contractor in place who is managing the restructuring process. Your focus will be on delivering a fantastic HR service to the business and driving the people agenda forward.

There is a key compensation and benefits project that will take place over the next 12 months so if you have experience of this type of work that would be handy.

You will support stakeholders at all levels with a variety of HR initiatives and will play a key role in helping to drive performance across the business. This role will be varied and interesting and we promise that you won’t be bored. You will get to draw on your full range of generalist HR experience here and influence at a senior level.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a good generalist that has plenty of experience of business partnering in commercial settings. You will have worked in fast-paced corporate environments such as retail, IT, telecommunications and you will be able to hit the ground running.

You will have robust employee relations and employment law knowledge and you will be able to guide the business and provide sound advice. You will also have strong talent management experience and if you have managed reward projects with other organisations that would be particularly useful.

We are looking for someone that will fit well with the HR team. They are a group that all chip in and work closely together. You will not always have all of the information to hand that you need so you will need to be someone that can ask the right questions and deal with ambiguity from time to time. We are looking for someone that is organised and can get projects from A to B as swiftly as possible.

This role should be fairly straightforward for someone with this type of experience. The real draw here is the fact that you will get to work with a genuinely lovely team in a very interesting business. We have placed with this business previously and have only heard very good things!
