Gleeson have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, engaging L&D Officer to support my client in a newly created role for a period of 12 months

My client is an industry leading technical manufacturing business, who has been on a steep growth trajectory, with no plans of slowing down!

The Role

Reporting into the L&D Manager, the L&D Officer will be responsible for supporting the Learning & Development team in the delivery of all initiative across the business

Key Accountabilities

As the L&D Officer you will

  • Handling the HR induction programme for new starters
  • Support requests and administration for the Learning Academy
  • Work closely with third parties to co-ordinate internal and external training courses
  • Support the implementation of a new LMS System
  • Provide assistance in the management of the annual apprenticeship programme
  • Have opportunity to shadow and deliver some training interventions

Key Experience/ Skills

  • Previous experience within an L&D Function, ideally in an L&D Officer capacity
  • Ability to quickly build effective relationships with stakeholders and third parties
  • Highly articulate and engaging, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
