Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with one of Swindon's key Employers to recruit an experienced Training Coordinator on a permanent basis.

It is essential that your training background / experience has been gained from within a manufacturing / logistics / FMCG environment and you possess an understanding of the newly introduced Apprenticeship Levy and associated Framework.

Reporting to the Head of HR and being part of a team of 5, the main purpose of this role is to design, develop, implement, co-ordinate, and facilitate training activity across the business.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

* Coordinate all Employee training and development activity across all roles across the business
* Development of graduate training, apprenticeships and management training at all levels (an understanding of the newly introduced Apprenticeship Levy and associated Framework is essential)
* Ensure operational training matrices are completed and updated
* Carry out new joiner inductions and enhance and develop the programme material as required
* Create training needs template and assess training needs for new and existing Employees in conjunction with Department Managers
* Identify internal and external training programmes to address competency gaps
* Organise, develop or source training programmes to meet specific training needs which are aligned with role description
* Liaise with internal experts in subject matter regarding internal training design and delivery
* Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
* Present training programs at all levels, as required
* Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training & on-the-job training/coaching
* Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
* Track, report and evaluate on training outcomes
* Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
* Maintain Employee training records
* Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
* Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
* Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
* Collect, compile and report results of evaluation, attendance and training data against key performance indicators and objectives
