Learning and Development Manager required to join prestigious professional services firm, London location

Your new company
Our client, a prominent professional services firm is on the search for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join their L&D department on a permanent basis. The department is responsible for providing business skills, personal and management development courses and programmes to all levels of the business globally and are delivered by their in-house learning and development team to meet strategic objectives of the business.

Your new role
Training for the firm is designed and delivered based on acknowledged best practice and the latest thinking in management, leadership, business development and personal effectiveness. This role will drive the delivery and design from end to end for an international reach, promoting development at all levels from partners to associates and business services staff worldwide.

As the successful candidate you will be a key player within a global team and responsible for writing new programmes from scratch, developing and implementing approaches to enhance the skills across the full spectrum of employees. You will design and deliver performance development business skills learning and development programmes and revise our existing portfolio as appropriate. You will assist in the delivery of the firm's career structure compulsory development programmes in London and internationally as required. You will also be responsible for undertaking learning and development initiatives to support the implementation of the firms Strategy in relation to its key clients.

What you'll need to succeed
The successor of this role will be a proven and experienced trainer, with experience in a professional services environment. Accustomed to reaching an international and diverse audience, you'll be an excellent presenter - engaging, articulate, facilitative, sensitive and structured. You'll have experience in designing both classroom and bespoke business skill programmes, scopes, plans, implements and closes effectively; goal orientated and organisationally savvy.

A clear communicator with a commercial edge, accustomed to working in a client facing role, willing to learn Project management experience.
