The Diocese of Guildford is seeking an experienced and qualified HR professional to lead its operations in developing a new HR service to our Church Schools and Academy Trusts.

This a new post and an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of a new service, working initially with our partners in the Diocese of London to deliver a HR Service Level Agreement, with the intention to develop a full range of HR services by the Diocese of Guildford by 2021.

The post holder will build the HR service, working with a team of HR Consultants, to ensure high quality HR support is delivered to our 84 Church of England schools across Surrey and Hampshire in line with their Christian character and distinctiveness.

In addition to the work with schools, the Lead HR officer will be responsible for building good strategic relationships with multi-academy trusts, in order to develop a strategic HR service which meets the needs of each trust as the single employer for staff in their academies.

This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced, leadership team in the Diocesan Board of Education, working with our Church schools to develop an exciting programme of transformational change in our education services.
