It is an exciting time to join the University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham with significant opportunity to make an impact through the introduction of new and improved ways of working. We are recruiting an energetic and innovative HR Manager to support the implementation of workforce transformation programmes across the Trust to ensure that we meet the needs of evolving models of care.

This is a new role within the Workforce Transformation Team which provides expert advice and support to managers across the Trust on service redesign and workforce modelling. It is essential that our clinical and support teams have the correct profile and skill-mix in place to deliver the best care to our patients and we need to have the expertise to facilitate that.

You will be an experienced HR practitioner with a technical expertise in change management and an in-depth understanding of legal issues and best practice. You will be confident in your own practice and your ability to engage and influence at a senior level. You will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and work well as part of a team whilst also comfortable to work without close supervision.

The job description and person specification clearly sets out the requirements for the role and expectations of the post holder.

It is proposed that the role will be based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham but the post holder will be required to work at all Trust sites including Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.

If you would like to discuss the role further please contact Emma Street on 0121 371 7610 to arrange.
