Job Details

The L&D Manager will develop, implement and maintain strategies which are aligned with best practices, policies and processes related to Performance Management and L&D functions. You will manage the L&D team and help to allocate the L&D annual budget effectively whilst reporting on ROI. You will ensure full compliance with the required steps through the entire organisation and work to ensure that both functions are closely supporting each other.

Other areas of responsibility will include pro-actively engaging in professional relationship management with the SLT to act as advisor on all related matters. Efficiently manage and conduct regular workshops for leaders as well as other employee groups. Oversee and proactively manage full cycles of all relevant processes ensuring that timelines are followed and that all preceding plans, such as training needs analysis, post training evaluations, job descriptions, succession planning, individual career development plans, etc. are managed consistently, in line with the set strategies and with positive results. Closely maintain and further develop the online systems and drive the integration with the ERP system in order to support the drive for efficiency. Develop and provide regular, high-level business reports to ensure provision of accurate and up-to-date information. Keep abreast of best practices in human resource management and maintain high-level working knowledge of all existing services in order to establish correct strategies.

You will be a seasoned Learning and Development Manager with experience of working in a fast-paced environment with an output focused mindset. You will enjoy working collaboratively and be able to realise operational delivery in line with conceptual thinking. Have effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to consult and coach others. You will have a natural ability to influence at all levels and be able to make effective decisions to ensure first response resolutions. Key skills will include report writing, training delivery, E learning design and experience of the management of Apprenticeship Frameworks.
