Director of Organisational Development and Human Resources
Giving Someone a Voice and making sure it’s heard is something POhWER does every day. We’re all about promoting equality, challenging unfairness and giving disadvantaged and vulnerable people access to high quality information, advice and advocacy services. We’re a truly user led organisation – with service users working at Board level – and committed to growing the organisation to work with more vulnerable adults across the UK.
We have grown to become one of the largest advocacy providers in the UK, providing the support of an advocate to a very wide range of service users from all communities, including in highly specialised settings. We empower users to speak up for their rights, access information or comment on the services they receive or need including; health, housing, care, community and legal services. With the changes in commissioning and continuing growth, we are looking to make a number of new and high profile appointments.
