Business Analyst, London, £60k-£70k
Role Purpose:
The role holder will be expected to challenge appropriately, adding their own views whilst still presenting unbiased findings in the forms of reports, process diagrams/maps etc. This will include recognising, planning and managing the impact of change arising from project development and non-project related activities. Similarly managing complex and difficult negotiation that could potentially impact the scope of projects.
Key Accountabilities:
* Analyse and document current and future state business processes from the perspectives of, clients, network offices, coverholders and carriers, etc.
* Use a preferred product-building tools to develop delegated-authority contracts, build web-forms and map workflows to support the binding/processing of risks and claims by coverholders.
* Activities include defining and prioritising business requirements, preparing feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis, and business process reengineering
* Undertake analysis to assist in project decision making
* Recognise, plan and manage the impact of change arising from project development and non project related activities.
* Manage complex and difficult negotiation that could potentially impact the scope.
* Provide analytical and research support by reviewing performance and volumes data to support the prioritisation of specific lines of business, processes and trading partnerships.
* Assist in identifying issues and potential risks relating to project and non-project situations. Understand all risks affecting the project and assist in implementing mitigating factors
* Produce reports, factual briefings, communication material and summaries of projects and their status, particular issues and implications for the stakeholders.
* Communicate information in the format of written briefings and reports, face-to-face meetings and presentations.
* Tailor large amounts of data/commentary/reports.
