A Global Technology Business is looking for someone to take on a lead role as a Sales Capability Manager. The role will report directly into the business and be responsible for managing the sales training programme across various business lines.

The role will offer the candidate the chance to:

* Manage, motivate and support a team of two Senior Training & Delivery Consultants and eight Training & Delivery Consultants
* Deliver cross-channel support to drive sales and maximise revenue in line with business objectives
* Work alongside the Marketing Managers to establish a solid process for aligning training activity with channel marketing activity
* Define a clear strategy for the Indirect online training programme
* Establish a clear evaluation framework for all training that can be shared with key stakeholders
* Make sure the Training & Delivery Team have the tools they need to do their jobs effectively
* Have flexible working from home with office trips to visit senior stakeholders a few times monthly

The candidate will ideally have the following experience:

* Established track record of managerial success within a
sales function of a corporate organisation
* High level relationship management with major retail
account
* Learning and Development exposure
* Experience in effectively coaching & mentoring at junior
and middle management levels
* Proven strong presentation, communication and influencing
skills
* Effective planning and organisation skills
* Proven ability to understand and interpret business
information and data, analysing trends and patterns to
effectively identify opportunities, determining training and
development priorities based on business need and benefits
* Engaging, confident and flexible in approach, with a
passion for people development
