A leading private sector organisation based in West Midlands are looking for an Interim Finance Solution Lead to play a key role in a major Finance Transformation Programme through the management and co-ordination of the various people and workstreams forming the overall plan.

In this role the ability to build relationships is key as you will be working closely with a number of senior stakeholders including the Transformation Director and the Finance and Business Steering Directors. The successful candidate must have experience managing a finance transformation plan and ideally have experience in manufacturing or other fast paced environments. Hybrid project management and PMO experience would be advantageous.

Finance Solution Lead

Key Responsibilities:

* Accountable for delivery of finance solutions (people, process, technology) to the Project
* Scope and plan the finance work-stream to deliver all relevant finance processes and supporting technology and organisation
* Working with Finance teams, business teams and third parties, develop solutions for finance processes
* Manage integration points with other projects and activities across the organisation
* Identify and monitor key risks and issues and escalate where appropriate
* Escalate finance design issues to Finance Operating Committee
* Set up / attend workshops to work through process flows
* Ensure actions are captured and followed up
* Own and drive the plan of activities
* Report progress and issues weekly - status report
* Brief the Finance Director on progress and leverage to resolve project issues
* Represent Finance at project governance meetings

Skills Required:

* A qualified accountant with several years PQE
* Programme / project management
* Stakeholder management skills
* Ability to plan and organise
* Focussed on plan delivery/outcomes
* Ability to consider end to end process
* Comfortable with challenging process
