Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this established and highly respected engineering business based near Newbury, to recruit their Head of Organisational Capability on a permanent basis.
This pivotal role offers huge scope for the right person! You will re-build and manage their Academy; Homegrowing talent and buidling a skills centre focused on providing a stronger pipeline of capable and engaged employees to the busines, whilst improving retention and a higher performing organisation.
Accountabilities:
* Strategic partnership with the business on Leadership, Talent, Capability and Organisational Effectiveness
* Effective management and development of all aspects of Organisational Capability (People) including leadership, talent and early careers management
* Development of a clear Organisational architecture with the ability to easily plan careers and succession
* Design and development of blended talent and capability solutions including use of new technology
* Development and management of diversity and inclusion policy, driving improved D&I practice and competency across the business
* Management if a centre of expertise that includes a team of talent & capability partners and an award-winning skills academy
You will be a strategic thinker, able to contribute to the wider HR strategy and operate as a credible member of the HR leadership team - bringing innovation and creativity to the design and delivery of Organisation Capability solutions.
Your team incompases 25 staff with 5 direct reports, you must therefore demonstrate strong leaderhsip skills and the authenticity to gain the trust of the operational delivery team.
You must also be resilient and able to operate effectively in an extremely sensitive, complex, and challenging Unionised environment.
