Your new company
This is a major public sector organisation in the heart of Swansea with multiple sites. You'll join at a time of growth in this 10 strong HR team and will work closely with a talented and friendly team.

Your new role
This position is required to work 5 days per week on a 25 hours per week basis . It will primarily focus on assisting managers with daily sickness and absence management. This will involve liaising with employees who are unwell, with their teams and their managers. You'll be giving positive guidance and helping employees access health and wellbeing support as well as assisting managers in managing their employees' return to work.

In time you'll have exposure to wider HR projects, recruitment is always busy here as well as getting involved with other HR casework as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need some experience in a HR team, having an idea of sickness and absence policies is important at least as part of your previous work history. You'll be a positive person who likes using the phone and speaking with different people, in particular you'll be good at building relationships and will enjoy helping people. This s a role where you will need patience and empathy as well. You'll be working in a supportive team who will aid your personal development and career.

What you'll get in return
You'll get a flexible part-time permanent role which could work very well for someone with commitments outside of their work life e.g. hobbies, childcare, caring for relatives etc. This role has a generous annual leave allowance of 28 days + 5 days across Christmas and 8 bank holidays. The salary is equivalent to between £22-24k and will be pro rata over 25 hours per week rather than full time to circa £16k.
