Your new company
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with the HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation.
Your new role

* Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
* Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
* Execute counselling, performance improvement plans, terminations and exit interviews.
* Recruit for exempt and nonexempt positions.
* Create and maintain job descriptions and job posting process to obtain the most qualified candidates.
* Conduct new-employee orientations; monitors training programs.
* Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
* Assist in creating and analysing reports, metrics, and results of department in relation to established goals.
* Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
* Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organising information.
* Protect organisation's value by keeping information confidential.
* Involvement with human resources programs including compensation, health and welfare benefits, records management, as well as safety and health.
* Labour relations experience preferred to include interpreting labour contracts and processing grievances.
What you'll need to succeed
* 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
* Strong ER knowledge
* Previous TUPE in and out exposure
