Learning and Development Facilitator - Covent Garden - £24.20 - £27.07

Your new company
A well-established Government organisation in Covent Garden are looking for a Learning and Development Facilitator to join their team for a 4 months contract. This is a full-time role, 35 hours a week and is paying £24.20 per hour via PAYE or £27.07 per hour via Umbrella company.

Your new role
You will be the lead facilitator for this employability support program and deliver pre-employment courses to youth groups and young adults that are unemployed. There are currently six courses confirmed for the first part of 2020, so you will be running these sessions and deliver the course contents over a 6 weeks period to young people. As Learning and Development Facilitator, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the course material and supporting young people though the recruitment process into apprenticeships and entry level positions. This will include, advising and supporting young people with their action plans for employment and education to achieve these goals.

As an individual, you will need to be an adaptable and flexible learning and development professional, with strong communication skills to advise and manage young people.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, candidates must have previous experience of delivering training courses and advising young children, young adults and vulnerable groups, this will also include one-on-one sessions. You will have the ability to build strong connection with the youth and have excellent communication skills, as you will be advising and supporting younger people. It is crucial, that you have a learning and development background, where you have delivered employability training courses.
