District Human Resources Lead (Voluntary) - Devon

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this. 

St John Ambulance is one of the nations favourite charities and right now we are recruiting for an enthusiastic Human Resources volunteer to be part of our District Management Team in Devon. Ideally, you will have HR experience and used to managing a small HR Team.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, whilst developing your own professional skills and experience. This is your chance to make a positive difference whilst developing skills that will help with your own career journey.

Volunteering with St John Ambulance means undertaking regular, longer-term activity that fits around your working life and you will be supporting the District Management Team support our team of volunteers, the role is varied and requires the post holder to visit both our Adult and Youth units across Devon, so you will need to be able to drive and you should live within the county.

This is a volunteer role and is unpaid although there are some expenses that may be claimed. This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a DBS check is required.
