Job Details

Senior BI Developer, Microsoft BI stack, PowerBI, Azure, Remote Working

Your new company
We're delighted to be working with a leading professional services business to support their data and analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an organisation that is delivering large scale transformational change and data-driven commercial decision making, by using the latest Microsoft tools. You'd be joining a small collaborative team that gets a real buzz from what they do. It is anticipated this will be a primarily remote working position.

Your new role
You'll play a key role in designing and developing the Azure data platform and evolving the business intelligence tools used throughout the organisation. As Senior BI Developer you'll work within a relatively small team to lead in design, development and maintenance of the organisation's BI tools within the Microsoft stack.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have worked with the latest Microsoft technologies, in a hands-on Scrum environment. Given the set-up of the team, you'll need to be a collaborative team player who can demonstrate you've continued to develop your BI development skills. Key skills and experience you'll need include:
* You'll be a Microsoft BI stack expert - T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS - and be able to deliver fast-paced releases
* Azure expertise - especially Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database
* Reporting and visualisation - strong PowerBI proficiency and DAX for tabular model development
* Source control - Git or similar
* Comfortable with ETL/ELT ingestion techniques

What you'll get in return
Apart from working within a genuinely collaborative team, this organisation has a comprehensive range of benefits including pension, generous annual leave, health and well-being support, travel to work scheme, plus both remote and flexible working.
