Learning and Development Manager

A rare and exciting opportunity! My client are currently going through an unprecedented and exciting period of growth during these challenging times and are now looking for a committed motivated Learning and Development professional to assist in implementing business and L&D strategies.

To enable delivery of exceptional stakeholder management and internal client service, through training, development, mentoring and coaching of colleagues within the specific business division. You will be responsible to own, create, drive and deliver a first-class training experience.

To research, plan, design, write content and deliver a varied range of blended learning, training methods and programs. Including soft skills, business systems and professional skills to help strengthen internal success alongside market position and footprint. You will strive for continuous improvement and development that support the needs of the business division, thereby overall contributing to the reputation and financial success of the specific business section.

Internally, you will be working alongside and supporting various stakeholders including, Senior Managers, Head of Operations, Head of Division, Head Office Support Staff, Human Resources and other internal colleagues. Externally, you will be working with educational bodies, professional intermediaries, and supply partners.
You will become an Ambassador for the specific division to help elevate its positioning in the market and internally within the overall business. Create a Training Needs Analysis Matrix, update and amend processes and procedures in line with changing regulatory requirements and market trends and attraction.

To establish a Training Directory and Training Plan for the entire Division. Create learning opportunities with external parties (governing bodies and suppliers) Establish a positive culture of learning, personal development, up-skilling, growth, and succession planning. You will have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise tasks that will contribute to the strategic planning process within the business division.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a true, talented expert in your field in Operational Learning and Development.
You will be degree educated or other third level qualification in Learning and Development

* Minimum three years' experience within a learning and development role
* Experience in planning and managing learning and development training initiatives
* Experience in a blended role (delivery of soft skills and business systems)
* Experience in talent development
* Excellent communication skills including strong written skills
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Excellent leadership and delegation skills
* Excellent IT skills
