Talent Acquisition - £30-£40k DOE - South Yorkshire - flexible and hybrid working available

Your new company
This is a growing SME in the Internet/IT space. Recently developed their HR service provision and now looking at furthering their offering as an employee of choice by recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Your new role
This is a brand new role to develop a recruitment and retention strategy; put best practice processes in place proactively recruit for the business.

Your role will the full end-to-end recruitment process - mainly within the IT/Tech space, aswell as Head Office functions - from advising & supporting Hiring Managers, advertisements, JDs, CV sifting, Pre-screening, Interviews, Feedback, Offers, Contracts of Employment, Onboarding and Inductions.

You will also get involved in proactive and modern recruitment practices such as headhunting, LinkedIn connections and CV libraries. You will look at setting up a company wide direct recruitment model.

Along the way there will be lots of projects to deliver to make the process better, smoother and more successful and also within 12 months move into looking at the "bigger picture" - such as improving inductions, updating appraisals/PDPs, KPI setting and review - and retention.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have both operational and strategic talent acquisition/ recruitment experience - ideally from the IT / Tech arena.
Although the role is hybrid - with some flexibility to work from home - you do need to be able to go into the South Yorkshire head office regularly and also make visits to the London branch (post-pandemic and Covid secure).

This includes more than statutory annual leave - 25 days plus the stats - rising after a set period by 1 a year to a maximum of 30

Flexible working options are available - full time/5 days is ideal but they will consider 4 days a week for the right person.
A mix/hybrid of Work From Home, Office and occasional London Travel.
