Your new role
You will be operating at a senior leadership level and responsible for developing a sustainable talent acquisition strategy that can be delivered across the UK&I business. As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for running a highly effective talent acquisition function, capable of delivering streamlined and high-quality recruitment solutions to the business. You will oversee the regional Talent Acquisition team and working with the UK&I and regional operational boards, as well as the national specialism leads to identify and understand their business plans and key challenges, and to design and deliver effective talent acquisition solutions that bring to life the business's EVP - to that attract high quality and diverse candidates. This pivotal post involves working closely with the operational teams across all parts of the UK&I business to ensure the processes, the systems used, and the onboarding experience are highly effective.

What you'll need to succeed

* Knowledge and success in developing and implementing talent attraction strategies, ideally within the recruitment sector, as well as wider talent acquisition business strategies including building partnerships with various organisations to broaden the sources of talent as well as the type of talent attracted to the organisation
* Senior or executive recruitment experience
* Experience of developing and implementing end to end recruitment campaigns in large commercial organisations
* Proven track record leading operational recruitment teams within a demanding environment
* Effective senior stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to lead continuous improvement and innovation thinking around technology
* Consultative approach and ability to identify business drivers
* Ability to prioritise, organise, multi-task and run demanding campaigns in parallel
* Strong presence and personal credibility with the ability to build strong business relationships both internally and externally
* Strong project and change management understanding
* Sound knowledge of HR and People and Culture processes and best practice
* Well versed in ED&I and building a diverse and inclusive culture
* Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills at all levels
* Strong influencing skills combined with a strategic approach with stakeholders
* Be passionate about achieving business objectives through effective Talent Acquisition
