Permanent HR Manager, Northampton-Hybrid-£50,000-£60,000 + £7,000 car allowance.

An excellent permanent HR Manager role, within a growing, national, fast-paced Infrastructure organisation in Northampton, an opportunity to make improvements and make a difference and grow with the organisation.


Your new role
As a permanent HR Manager you will be part of the Exec team and have 1 direct HR report into you. You will be responsible for both HR strategy and hands on operational HR duties.
Duties will include:
Ensuring the People Plan is up to date and in line with HR strategy.
Managing any complex ER cases from end-end and upskilling the HR Advisor with ER case work.
Overseeing recruitment and supporting with any challenges and headhunting for Executive level recruitment.
Delivering training on HR best practice.
Supporting with succession planning
HR Projects:
Improving the onboarding process and implementing a seamless process.
Identifying and implementing recommendations to improve sickness absence
Researching into Benefits Providers and identifying and implementing better offerings and solutions.
Tweaking and improving the appraisal process.
Providing mentoring options for high performers.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as an HR Manager and must have experience managing a small HR team. Experience in a fast-paced, commercial SME is advantageous. You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
