Maternity cover role in Manchester / Salford paying 25-28k on a 12 month FTC

A rare opportunity to join an exciting and successful retail business in Manchester to cover a period of maternity leave.

Your new role
You will be working as part of a small HR team, reporting to the HR Manager, providing support to the business across all aspects of HR and managing training needs and personal development for employees. You will be responsible for daily advice and support to managers on HR matters, maintaining employee data, producing reports and HRMI, supporting policy development, and overseeing HR administration. You will also support all aspects of recruitment, liaise with payroll and manage the annual appraisal process - assessing training needs, designing the training plan and sourcing / booking relevant courses.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need 2-3 years of generalist HR experience, ideally within a similar setting. You will have specific experience in recruitment, in conducting disciplinary and grievance procedures, and of producing and analysing reports. You will be CIPD qualified and have excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills. You will be proactive, professional and driven. You should have strong Excel skills and it would be beneficial to have had previous experience in using Cascade.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract, with a salary of 25-28k depending on experience. The role will start early to mid-April. This is a fantastic opportunity and one not to be missed!
