My client are a multinational bank.


The Business Practice Team develop and deliver training on systems, processes and change projects to Front Office staff on a global basis. They are responsible for the training framework for front office colleagues in Wealth and Investment Management and design and develop toolkits of self support training materials such as Quick Reference Guides, Videos and Systems User Guides.

Training Design & Development

* Design, build and deliver training courses. Develop and drive best practice toolkit for learning and support materials with global reach

* Assess and analyse training/development priorities, successes and areas of improvement on an ongoing basis and ensure alignment to the future strategic direction of the business

* Conduct in-depth business driven training needs analysis and demand planning; recommending appropriate solutions that are not only commercially appealing and realise a return of investment but that also deliver dynamic, challenging learning interventions that are accessible to busy, competitive audiences. Build and use personal knowledge of technical trends, financial industry trends, and business best practices to understand clients' perspectives and the business impacts of learning.

* Make complex judgements on priorities in relation to the above

* Maintain continuous improvement across operational processes, procedures and solutions; evaluating existing content and curriculums. Engage and advise the Banker and PBE communities on how to improve learning and support materials

* Deliver training workshops and sessions via webex and face to face

* Oversee relationships with all third party training providers, partners and Consultants who may be engaged to provide services, including content development, branding, production, delivery and classroom training

* Use innovative thinking and ground breaking solutions to develop learning material, including eLearning's, videos, knowledge forums, social media tools, and internal expert talks

Business Practice Team Working

* As a member of the Business Practice Team, reporting into the Business Practice Team Manager to ensure training design and delivery of new platforms and upgrades to existing platforms, is embedded within the established Business Practice Framework.

Actively develop and maintain reciprocal relationships with internal customers/stakeholders in order to continuously monitor, evolve and improve our offerings and services to meet expectations and needs.

The role holder will be results and delivery focused, have strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems using sound judgement and analysis

In-depth training gap analysis will be required and the role holder will need to recommend and develop innovative training solutions which will require extensive research, innovative and creative thinking.


* Experience in commercially focused Learning and Development role

* Experience of working in a large, global matrix organisation

* Experience in delivery of large scale systems training - experience in Sales management tools beneficial e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce etc

* Effective senior stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills

* Strong commercial skills as well as negotiation and problem solving skills and a proven track record of procuring training solutions

* Experience of designing and shaping blended learning solutions across multiple delivery channels

* Experience working for a Wealth business preferred

* Project management skills and ability to plan large-scale training events

* Flexibility and agility in adjusting plans to rapid change

* Bachelors Degree in an applicable field (HR, Tech, Learning, Organizational Development)
