This is a fast paced, commercial business based in Ipswich which is currently experiencing a period of strong growth resulting in a period of positive change. As a result, they need to expand their HR team and they are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable HR Advisor. This is a new role and the HR Advisor will help them support the company through growth and assist in raising the profile of HR within their business.

Working in a small, close knit team and reporting into the HR Manager, the post-holder will assist in providing a robust and pro-active operational HR service to managers and staff throughout the business. This will include the provision of advice & guidance, performance management, employee relations, management information, absence management and policy development.

To be considered for this exciting role, you will be CIPD qualified (to Level 5/7 equivalent), have solid experience of delivering HR guidance to managers and possess a strong knowledge of employment law. Enthusiastic, motivated and flexible, you will be capable of dealing with a wide range of tasks and be committed to personal career development. Good communication skills and the ability to influence and effectively challenge are also essential as is the commitment to continuing professional development.
