Working as HR Manager, providing expert HR advice to a dedicated client group you will work as part of a small team. Based on the border of East London/Essex.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Provide a professional advisory service to line managers within the business, based on an excellent knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, company policies and business objectives
* Proactively disseminate HR policy and good practice and set a strong example.
* Support and influence line managers with regard to all employee-related issues with a focus on employee relations, including absence management, disciplinary & grievance issues, and performance management, and promote and manage line manager involvement in HR services.
* Implement and drive specific initiatives from the wider HR people strategy
* Able to work as a business partner and coach line managers
* To support and actively contribute to the agreed Human Resource key performance indicators and company objectives.
* To support administrative excellence within the department.
* Any other activities commensurate with the role.
* Adhoc project work

Exposure to unions is essential in this role

Able to deal with all levels of stakeholder and be able to adapt your style is key
