My client, a leader in their industry is looking to recruit a Lead HR Manager for an initial 12 month FTC.

Responsible for delivering the HR strategy and embed good people management practices throughout the business.

In partnership with the SMT, ensure the business meets business and operational objectives.

Accountable for the delivery of HR services to the management teams and employees (HR Service Centre and occupational health)

Manage, mentor and develop the HR generalist team in an environment of encouragement and empowerment to implement best practice, administrative excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsible for the development of the HR team to provide advice & guidance to line managers on all employee relations (ER) cases and providing advice on complex ER issues to senior managers.

Accountable for a professional and efficient in-house recruitment service.

Ensure that HR policies and procedures are in line with legislation and company changes.

Responsible for organisational change and design, implementing best practice on managing change programmes.

Develop and implement an Industrial Relations strategy and maintain key relationships with TU representatives.

Contract manage occupational health and EAP providers.

Support the HR BP and Head of HR with implementing the leadership development plan (Talent mapping, succession planning, objective-setting, up-skilling of managers and leaders and the employee

Strong HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing, logistics OR industrial, engineering type business would be key for this role.
