Your new role

* Developing a high performing training culture through the design, development and maintenance of training solutions for Drivers, Warehouse Staff and Customer Service including Supervisors and Managers. You'll work with a number of stakeholders, coach individuals and provide train the trainer training.
* Facilitating of induction training programmes for all new starters
* Contributing in a range of training, including regulations, legislation, dangerous goods and manual handling
* Supporting technical training as and when required, e.g. Systems and HHT training
* You'll be developing on Training Champions and Training Buddies through train the trainer training and coaching
* Managing your time effectively and working autonomously to support the service centre network
* Ensuring delivery is aligned to training manuals and maintaining training records for all on-site training
* Providing constructive feedback on course content to promote a culture of continuous improvement
* Although based on Bristol, this role will involve travel and being away from home 2/3 nights per week

What you'll need to succeed

The training programmes are already in place and well received so ideally this post requires a confident and strong presenter to use their experience to maximise the delivery, engage delegates and build relationships. It important that you are able to maintain high standards through a positive learning atmosphere.

This thriving organisation requires experience in dedicated operational training and delivery - carrying out formal assessments/audits/TNAs to either company or national standards within a coaching environment. Naturally, a strong safety mind-set is key to your training presentations being effective in the areas detailed above.

This is a key post in the organisation so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate your ability priortise to manage your time and tasks.
