Hays Human Resources Swindon is currently recruiting for a HR Administrator within the education sector on a part time basis working an average of 15-20 hours per week. The School is located in Swindon and the HR Administrator will report into the HR Officer and be part of a HR team of 4.

Your new role
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and committed HR Administrator to join their friendly HR team.
The role will encompass a Generalised HR Administrator role including:

* Dealing with HR queries
* Develop HR templates and toolkits
* Updating employment policies
* Assist with training courses
* A generalist HR Advisor role
* Focused on employee relations, Policies and procedures, global strategic objectives, Reward, retention and performance management and Senior casework
* Advising on disciplinary, grievance, appeals, absence management
* Delivering people management training and working with HR leads to develop policies and training workshops for managers.
* You will be responsible for all Day to day HR case work, Advising line management on key issues, Attending disciplinary meetings, handling grievances, transactional HR responsibilities.
* Supporting the Head of HR with an organisational development project, discussing ideas, assisting in the implementation of processes across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

* 2+ years HR administration experience
* Ability to communicate well at all levels and build good relationships, both internally and externally, whilst maintain professionalism, control and integrity
* Effective use of specialist ICT packages
* Proficient in the use of HR systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Working knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, legislation and employment law
* Work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities within the HR role
