Leeds based 6 month Interim contract , Head of OD

A fantastic opportunity to join this national organisation who are looking for an Interim Head of OD to join their experienced team.

You will:

* Work with partners and stakeholders in an effective manner to co-produce and deliver strategies, plans and processes to meet developing needs.
* Lead the design and delivery of Organisational Development and Engagement . Leading the design, development and implementation of cross organisation initiatives to realise organisational strategy. E.g. Talent Management
* Be able to cut through complexity and through gaining an understanding/empathy of target audience create and communicate a compelling vision for change and describing the future in words that have meaning and emotion to the target group.
* Work with partners and stakeholders in an effective manner to co-produce and deliver strategies, plans and processes to meet developing needs.
* Provide subject matter expertise in the development of best practice methodologies, approaches, policies and strategies and strategic level training expertise and advice to its projects, programmes and services.

You will need :

* Strategic Vision: ability to use the levers to drive cultural change through behaviours and values and how to engender accountability at executive levels. An ability to develop organisation and people strategies and operating plans.
* Solutions: ability to challenge business case, costed options appraisals and benefits tracking to ensure project or activities deliver maximum benefit and are aligned with organisational wide strategy. Specify behaviour candidate should demonstrate in application to evidence competency.
* Leading ODL: understand approaches to leading, engaging and aligning people at all levels and backgrounds with functional and organisational goals. Understands the methods for managing and evaluating performance across the organisation. Understands budget and financial planning, management and monitoring approaches.
* Organisation Design: engage with and challenge senior leaders around purpose, principles and benefits of change. A proven track record of developing change management solutions at times of transformational change.
* Learning & Development: ability to use innovative, thought leading learning approaches. An understanding of how to build learning, capability, professionalism and talent development strategy.
