Your new company
Reporting into the COO the successful candidate will be responsible for providing generalist HR support across all aspects of the full HR lifecycle across all the firms' locations. You will be highly experienced in UK employment law and have had exposure to European employment law in particular working on complex redundancy cases.

Your new role
Coordinate and jointly authorise payroll through the local payroll service provider at each location (including monitoring delivery and content, quality of outputs)
Liaise with Finance function to ensure timely funding of all payroll and benefit commitments
Ensure all year-end payroll and payroll related tax obligations are met at each location
Co-ordinate any external service providers in the HR area at each location including: Benefit providers, Outsourced HR Service Providers, payroll providers and legal advisers.
Work closely with the managing board, line managers and employees on all HR-related issues Implement HR actions (payrises, changes to T&Cs, etc), as well as ensuring compliance with legal, corporate and individual contract terms
Manage and execute headcount reductions and restructuring including all aspects of the redundancy lifecycle in line with employment law and internal policies
Manage any performance, grievances, disciplinaries and other employee relations issues in line with employment law and internal policies
Ensure all HR handbooks, policies, procedures and related documentation are up to date and in line with legislation
Oversee all aspects of the recruitment, on boarding processes HR Project support and HR Administration and record keeping is in line with legal and internal requirements

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working in a Head of HR role for SME financial services firm, up to 150 staff across various locations UK & Europe. Proven experience in working closely with senior stakeholders up to board level. Experienced in UK employment law and have had exposure to European employment law in particular working on complex redundancy cases. Payroll bureau experience will be a must University degree or equivalent, CIPD qualification European language will be highly desirable
