ER is challenging in any circumstances but our client has spent 10 years transforming itself into a highly profitable UK business where its 6,000 staff show an engagement score of over 85% and its 6 million customers voted it the best loved company in its industry in the UK.

HR has played a significant role in this success. An ER Centre of Excellence was created 2 years ago, which is now an established and successful, specialist function.

To help move them to the next phase of their journey, we are seeking an ER Manager to lead a team of 10 ER Leads and Consultants who manage the end to end case management across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

·Embedding the ER strategy, focusing on continuous development of a Centre of Expertise
·Developing an effective Senior ER advisory capability to support all Stakeholders, including ExCo / Board level
·Providing inspirational leadership for the ER team - building on the team's existing reputation as an ER CoE for providing great service and enabling people managers to confidently manage their employee relationships
·Providing specialist expertise on larger programmes, e.g. Bids, TUPE and Acquisitions
To apply, you will be a deep dive, ER expert (rather than a generalist with ER as part of your remit) and a proven people manager with the ability to motivate, coach and develop your team. It is essential that you are able to manage multiple projects, work to tight deadlines and have the agility to adjust to changing priorities. You will have operated within a complex business (both in scale and structure) bringing an analytical, insightful and influential style.

This role is a full time position, but a level of flexible working will be considered for candidates who can demonstrate deep ER expertise and outstanding leadership qualities.
