A new permanent role based in Wilmslow for experienced an L&D Advisor

Your new company
A public sector organisation operating as an independent body to uphold rights and standards within the public interest. Head office based in Wilmslow.

Your new role
The role of L&D Advisor will work as a key part of the L&D team, providing a professional, proactive and effective service to all staff, and supporting the L&D Manager in delivering the L&D strategy. You will conduct training needs analysis and research, design and deliver in-house training and development programmes for staff and managers, as well as providing advice on the range of learning available. You will also be involved in the procurement of any outsourced training activity, ensuring learning events are timely, focused, relevant and provide value for money.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role - where you have delivered training in a classroom based environment, and ideally had some exposure of e-learning and in procurement of external training. You should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in designing, delivering and evaluating training, be experienced in facilitating group events and have managed external training providers. You should be able to demonstrate a broad, specialist knowledge of L&D trends and good practice.

What you'll get in return
This is a permanent role based in Wilmslow without the need for regular travel elsewhere, so would be well suited to someone looking for more of a site based L&D role. The salary is just over £24,500. They also offer some great benefits, including flexible working hours and flexi leave, a generous holiday allowance with the option to buy and sell, family friendly policies, options for compressed hours, health cash plan, staff medical scheme, childcare vouchers - and of course - excellent learning and development opportunities!
