Job Role/ Purpose

To provide practical and effective HR advice to our people and support the delivery of the HR Strategy

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • To build strong and influential relationships within the business 
  • Support the Head of HR with learning and development, change management, talent management, reward and recognition and succession planning within the business
  • Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and employment law
  • HR data reporting
  • Work with and coach managers on completing their regular check in points with their people
  • Manage full cycle recruitment and prepare contracts
  • Maintain people information within the HR system
  • Keep HR policies up to date and ensure that they are compliant
  • Producing reports as needed
  • Collaborate with the finance team on the administration of payroll and employee benefits
  • Taking projects through to completion as they arise
  • General admin  


  • Knowledge of the data protection act


  • Some experience in a similar role preferred although may suit an HR graduate
  • Experience in an in-house recruitment role and direct sourcing of candidates an advantage


  • Able to communicate at all levels of the business
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Proven problem solving skills
