We are seeking an outstanding individual to be responsible for leading on the Board(s) Organisational Development (OD) agenda; developing and delivering a strategy to implement the organisations’ vision and aims in line with our ‘Patient First’ framework.

This is a post that spans both organisations and will seek to support each organisation in developing and delivering its OD agenda whilst seeking to maximise opportunities for joint working, learning and development.

To develop our culture, enhance staff engagement and bring about change through our people, you will be a highly motivated, positive and inspirational leader with excellent collaborative working skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clinical leaders and professional staff groups. You will be an exceptional role model who can empower others.

This post requires travel throughout the Trust to all its sites and will also require some regional and national travel.

About Us

Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals is the regional teaching hospital, working across two sites: the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, (including the Royal Alexander Children’s Hospital) and the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.  Also the major trauma centre for Sussex and the South East. BSUH is an academic centre, a provider of high quality teaching, and a hospital for cutting edge research and innovation; delivered with partners, Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Postgraduate Deanery, and local universities.
