Your new company
My client prestigious international bank based in London is on the search or an experienced standalone HR Manager to join the business starting ASAP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and management of the banks HR function and will provide leadership and advice on all people related issues either solely or working closely with the senior leadership team. You will also be responsible for working closely with the head of compliance on the banks SM&RC. Experience with the senior managers regime along with recent banking experience will be a must for this role.

Your new role
The responsibilities will include and won't be limited to the following:
Human Resources Policy/Employment Practices Performance Management processes Proactive People Management, including organisation planning Recruitment/Induction and on boarding HR and Payroll Administration (managing outsourced provider) Reward, Pension and Benefits Administration Learning & development Employee Relations HR Project Management Develop and report appropriate MI and management of the overall HR budget Build effective working relationships with Board Members, CEO, Senior Leadership Team Managers and Employees of the bank

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified to at least a MCIPD or an equivalent law degree Proven HR Management experience within Financial Services with at least 2 years at a senior level (senior HRBP or Manager) or a bank in a stand alone role or heading up small team.
Previous experience of the full range of HR related activities from policy to payroll is essential.
Must have regulatory work experience in a UK Regulated Financial Services Firm along with expertise with Senior Mangers Regime (SMR)
It is essential that the HR Manager is operational and strategic, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Knowledge and experience in best practice in HR, the UK employment law, payroll administration, experience of the UK financial services market, pensions legislation
You will be commercially minded and have ideally worked for a SME size financial services organisation or in a standalone role
Strong communication skills will be a must for this role
Broad range of Human Resources experience coupled with the ability and interest in going into the detail as required on specific HR issues.
