This is an exciting HR Advisor role within the manufacturing sector

Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known, manufacturing client, based on the outskirts of Norwich, who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their established HR team. A fantastic opportunity to work for a market leader with a strong brand and company values.

Your new role
Main responsibilities include:

* Operate within and develop, implement and update as appropriate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and in order to meet changing Company needs.
* Support the development and enhance the capability of line management population through the development and delivery of effective people management tools and techniques.
* Support management team with labour planning and recruitment of direct/indirect, permanent/temporary resources, providing advice and guidance.
* Manage the attendance procedure for all areas that fall within the allocated business areas, ensuring that long term sick cases are dealt with in an appropriate manner and all capability cases are effectively managed in conjunction with the third party Occupational Health provider.
* Provide an effective support for the business regarding advice on a broad range of employee relations issues ensuring that consistency across the business is maintained.
* Prepare management information as required to support the site management team e.g. absence, hours worked, salary and bonus etc. and compile relevant weekly, monthly and annual reports as required by Head of HR.
* Proactively improve, implement and maintain transactional HR processes and procedures.



What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will have a strong knowledge of employment law, ideally be CIPD qualified with previous experience in an FMCG environment. Candidates must be confident working in a fast paced environment.
