Exciting opportunity for a budding HR Administrator to work in the Diss area on a permanent basis.

A reputable private sector business with a UK wide presence located in Diss, who are working exclusively with Hays in order to find the right candidate for this role.

Your new role

As a HR Administrator, you will work alongside other administrators providing support to both the HR team and across the business. Due to the company having a heavy customer service focus, you will also liaise with customers on a regular basis and have a confident and professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities will include:

* Assist in management of HR inbox, answering basic absence/holidays related queries and escalating more complex issues
* Support with Employee relations process such as basic letters, correspondence and preparing evidence
* Assist as note taker/support in low level disciplinary and grievances
* Amending contracts, reviewing policies and other HR projects
* Assisting with full employee lifecycle: new starters, probations and leaver processes
* Maintain Employee files, both paper and electronic
* Answer queries and assist employees with the employee self-service portal

Please note that this is a full time position only.

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates will ideally have obtained or be working towards their CIPD qualification, and hold previous experience within a HR Administration (or similar) role.
