Your new company
We are currently partnering with an industry leading B2B organisation based in the Wakefield area looking to supplement their HR team with an experienced HR Manager to cover a 9 month maternity leave contract.

Your new role
Reporting to the UK HR Director you will be responsible for all HR across the business supporting the senior management team, line managers and supervisors with the development and management of their teams. You will lead and advise on key commercial projects and objectives including business change, acquisitions, TUPE transfers and restructures. With people management responsibility for the HR Advisor and HR Administrator you will lead the HR team, developing the team and guiding them through technical HR issues as well as ensuring their daily tasks align with the group strategy and business needs. Working alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager you will support the recruitment of high calibre candidates championing the business as an employer of choice. You will also undertake and lead line management training initiatives to ensure that managers at every level are equipped to be able to manage their team effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this varied, strategic HR Manager opportunity you will be a confident HR generalist with a track record of success leading HR Change and business as usual activity, ideally within a B2B organisation. You will either be CIPD Level 7 qualified or have equivalent, robust experience operating at a senior HR level. With excellent written and verbal communication skills you will be competent understanding and implementing current employment legislation, helping to better shape an organisations HR policies and procedures. You will have previous line management experience and there will be some travel to additional sites around the UK.
