Senior HR Manager - 9 mth FTC

Highly experienced, strategic level HR generalist and leader required for a 9 month FTC to cover a period of secondment. Based in Birmingham you will be required to lead a team of HR Business Partners, Advisors and Resourcers to deliver quality, broad based HR services.

Examples of Responsibilities

* Manage, lead and motivate the HR team in delivering high levels of value-add services throughout a complex work environment
* Lead on the development of effective people strategies and processes to make business focussed improvements, maximise organisational effectiveness and promote new behaviours across the organisation
* Effectively manage varied change related initiatives to include; leadership development, organisational design, restructure, redundancies, talent, performance and engagement
* Acting as a true Business Partner, develop and maintain effective working relationships at a senior level - challenging the status quo and influencing change where appropriate
* Consistently review and develop effective HR policy and practice to reflect changes in Employment Legislation, whilst also reflecting company values and practice
* Act as a champion for change, up-skilling stakeholders in skills and practices that meet future challenges to include talent management, succession planning and resource analysis.
* Devise new initiatives and strategies relating to Employee Engagement and Equality & Diversity and manage other ad-hoc projects



Key Skills & Qualifications

* Demonstrable experience of leading HR generalist
* Experience of leading on change projects to include, organisational design, restructure, redundancy, TUPE and cultural change programmes
* Proven track record of working with challenging, specialist and highly qualified client groups
* Demonstrable experience of senior level relationship management up to and including Director level.
* Consultancy approach with the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with the business and add value
* Experience in the following project areas would be highly beneficial but not essential; Equality & Diversity, Employee Engagement, Cost Analysis
* CIPD qualified and of Degree calibre or equivalent qualification
